Chief Operating Officer
Takahiro Yasui is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Hitachi Digital and for Hitachi’s Digital Engineering & AI Solutions (DEAI) business unit (BU). In these roles, he is responsible for standardizing the cost-efficient and high-quality delivery of corporate shared services, managing continuous process improvements, and building and accelerating synergies across our DEAI BU operating companies. Yasui-san joined Hitachi, Ltd in 2001, starting as a platform software engineer. Over his 25-year tenure with Hitachi, he has served in a wide variety of technical and management roles, including project manager for a large-scale system integration project for the Japanese government, COO of Hitachi’s Cloud Services Platform Business Unit, and Chief Lumada Business Officer (CLBO) for Hitachi Digital Services. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo. He is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
