Gajen Kandiah brings nearly three decades of experience to Hitachi Digital. He currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Hitachi Digital, driving transformation and AI-led innovation across multiple Hitachi organizations. His responsibilities also include roles as Chief Digital Transformation Officer within Hitachi’s Digital Systems & Services division and Deputy GM for Hitachi’s AI Transformation division. Additionally, he is Chairman of Hitachi Systems Trusted Cyber Management. Prior to joining Hitachi in July 2020, Gajen spent over 15 years at Cognizant in various leadership roles, where he successfully led eight businesses through hypergrowth. Before Cognizant, he co-founded NerveWire, Inc., a management consulting and systems integration firm acquired by Wipro. Gajen also serves on the boards of Hitachi Digital Services, Hitachi Systems Trusted Cyber Management, and Hitachi Rail. His ability to leverage technology disruptions and market opportunities ensures rapid and significant results for Hitachi.
