The Team

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced LATAM Payroll Processor to oversee and execute accurate, timely payroll operations across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with country-specific labor laws and tax regulations while supporting internal stakeholders and third-party payroll vendors.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (preferred) and possess direct experience managing payroll through providers such as CloudPay, Workday, Deloitte, Puente Sur, Graciela del Ponte, and Dayforce. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, Tax, and IT, requiring a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to customer service.

The Role

  • Process end-to-end payroll for LATAM countries, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy in payroll execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries across the region, providing clear and timely communication to employees.
  • Partner with third-party payroll vendors (Deloitte, Puente Sur, Graciela del Ponte, etc.) to coordinate payroll inputs and validate pre-payroll data.
  • Review and approve compensation inputs including hours worked, salaries, bonuses, recognition awards, severances, union allowances, vacation premiums, 13th-month salaries, and other statutory payments.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and support internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and validate profit-sharing distribution reports in accordance with union agreements.
  • Stay current with changes in labor laws and tax regulations across all covered countries.
  • Ensure employee records are accurate and aligned with HR, Benefits, and Finance systems.
  • Validate and support the submission of annual income tax reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of payroll processes and systems across the LATAM region.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-country LATAM environment (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico).
  • Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (plus) is required.
  • Experience with global payroll vendors such as CloudPay, Workday, Deloitte, Puente Sur, Graciela del Ponte, TMF, and Dayforce.
  • Strong understanding of country-specific labor laws, tax legislation, and statutory requirements.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer-service mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential data with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related tools.
  • Experience working in a multinational, remote, or distributed work environment is a plus.
