We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Alliances Operations Analyst (Deal Desk) to join our team. Reporting to the Deal Desk Director, this role is dedicated to supporting the Alliances (hyperscalers) team while also contributing to general operations within the Global Deal Desk function. The position drives the execution of the One Hitachi Strategy by enabling ITxOT Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, streamlining processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the role involves managing Use Cases, maintaining a centralized repository for marketing collaterals, and optimizing CRM usage to support strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Alliances Focus:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for the Alliances team, supporting hyperscaler-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to ensure alignment of GTM strategies and operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain best practices and tools tailored to the unique needs of the Alliances function.

Use Cases and Marketing Collaterals Management:

  • Identify, document, and update Use Cases that highlight the business value and technical feasibility of ITxOT solutions, particularly in hyperscaler partnerships.
  • Manage a centralized repository of marketing collaterals, including case studies, whitepapers, and product briefs.
  • Ensure materials are relevant, accessible, and aligned with GTM and branding strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create new collaterals based on customer feedback, market trends, and hyperscaler input.

CRM Management and Optimization:

  • Ensure effective use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage pipeline opportunities, customer data, and deal workflows.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to improve CRM adoption, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement CRM reporting and dashboards to provide real-time insights on sales performance, pipeline health, and key metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance CRM functionality and usability, working closely with the IT and sales operations teams to drive system improvements.

General Deal Desk Operations:

  • Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks for opportunity qualification and deal approval.
  • Use Power BI to analyze deal data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and profitability targets in deal review and approval processes.

Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of ITxOT GTM best practices, focusing on process excellence and standardization across hyperscaler and general operations.
  • Manage critical data, such as account assignments, customer hierarchies, and account segmentation.
  • Review major pipeline opportunities to ensure proper qualification and alignment with business objectives.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Build and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards to track productivity metrics and sales performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize both Alliances and broader GTM strategies.
  • Perform scenario modeling and predictive analytics to evaluate GTM initiatives’ outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in deal desk, operations, or revenue management roles, preferably in the tech industry 
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Expertise in Power BI, data visualization, and advanced Microsoft Excel modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
